BREAKFAST BARS + PROTEIN CINNAMON ROLL

I’ll be honest, this is a straight up 1 star snack for me. It has a very medicinal taste. I felt like I ate cough syrup.My husband disagreed. He liked it more. He said “it wasn’t appealing, but I finished it.” He’d even rate it a 3 if it didn’t have so much added sugar because he found it to be a robust snack.We agreed on 2 stars. As I write this review, I can still taste the lingering aftertaste of blueberry cough syrup. It doesn’t fade quickly.

My son has issues with eating and it’s hard to get protein into him, so he is pretty familiar with protein bars.These are on the smaller side and have a medium soft, chewy granola texture.My kid says they are “mid” and weird tasting, but edible, and not his favorite. He says they would not be any good without the frosting.These bars are competitively priced for protein bars these days.

I appreciate that these bars have 5g of protein, and a relatively low sugar content (I do wish there was no palm oil though!). The boxes we received don’t expire until mid 2026, so there is a decent shelf life. Unfortunately, only 1/2 of my kids likes the taste, with complaints that the blueberry smell is too strong, and the texture is dry and bland. I will keep these as emergency snacks, but for the price point I expected better. If these are on sale, I might grab a couple to stash around, but it is definitely not a must buy.

I have three kids with all different allergies, so I do appreciate that Blake attempted another different flavor to add variety to their brand. Unfortunately, two of my teens said they wouldn’t get it again. They both said it doesn’t taste like a donut.. more like a rich vanilla cake. My youngest wouldn’t even try it because she doesn’t like the smell. It has a very sweet vanilla mix with caramel scent. She wasn’t a fan of it. It came in 6 boxes with five bars in each box. I do encourage you to try other Blake flavor like birthday cake, chocolate, and apple cinnamon because we reorder those all the time. But this flavor is a miss for us. Sorry Blake’s. Will give this entire thing to my husband to consume.

Yum! These are really good for being so clean. The slight taste blueberry is just perfect with the grainy goodness.It's a nice mixture of natural sweet and earthy whole foods.We love Blakes and have tried much of what they've come out with. These are on par with the rest of their items in being good for you, safe, and having a nice natural flavor.They are a little on the drier side but not too bad. I just make sure I have a water on hand while eating.

These bars are tasty! They have a chewy, sticky, texture and a blueberry flavor with a nice little dash of frosting. They are great for sending into schools as they are allergen free. My kids like them and I think they go great with coffee. I feel good that they are protein boosted so I'm not just eating a sugary snack.

These are really tasty with a good amount of blueberries. I like how the frosting is drizzled on the top because it makes it more noticeable than if the bars just had additional sugar as an ingredient. They're not too huge, so the calorie content is good at 100 calories per bar. Sometimes I just want a smaller snack, and other bars I have are about 130 to 170. I don't really care about gluten, so being gluten free isn't a big deal to me. Maybe that's why they're pretty expensive. Honestly I usually get more bars for less money at a big box store, but there's nothing wrong with these at all. I found them to be very enjoyable, thanks for letting me try them out.

These are very tasty and sweet, with a strong, natural blueberry flavor. They do (5X our usuals) , but they also have more sugar as well (9 vs 7g). The additional sugar is natural, likely from the blueberries. I can’t complain about the taste, though I do wish they had less sugar overall - they are plenty sweet as it is. They have a light frosting drizzle, and taste and feel premium, your kids will appreciate it. The texture is the same as the main brands, being soft and slightly sticky. The protein has an earthy flavor tone, and it doesn’t taste more filling.

I tried this product and was impressed with its quality and taste. The first bite was a bit too sweet, so I scraped off the sugary topping (came off easily) and the taste was much more to my liking. It has more of a raisin/currant flavor than a blueberry flavor, which is great for my tastes. I really like that this product is completely plant-based; however, I do not like that it uses palm oil. It could have used more sunflower oil, or perhaps used a neutral-tasting plant oil such as grapeseed oil.The price is high in the US, but the "t-word" is causing the issue, so I'm not counting that against the manufacturer. This is a potential five-star product, but I deducted a star for the unneeded sugary topping and the use of palm oil.

If you are like me, your mornings are rushed, and you are always looking for a quick breakfast solution. One solution is breakfast bars, something you can eat on the way to work. These blueberry bars are tasty but small; they have a firm, chewy texture, and provide 5g of protein (which is not that much). I would have liked a slightly larger bar that provided more protein and filled me up better. The ingredients are clean, with a mixture of all-natural and organic ingredients. All in all, not a bad breakfast solution, but you may need to eat a couple of them because they are small.

These taste a lot like cinnamon oatmeal to me. They have a healthy taste with cinnamon and sweet icing as well. Surprisingly, my picky husband likes them as well. He's been grabbing one out the door in the mornings.As good as these are, the price is a bit high. The regular price at the time of my review is $1.24 each, While there are several major brand breakfast protein bars for under a dollar.

These are batting .500 in our house. My husband has enjoyed them as a small snack with his mid-morning coffee. I found that I didn’t care much for the taste. My biggest complaint is the cost per item. At $1.25 a piece at time of review, there’s not much to them, so I wouldn’t put them in the grandkids’ lunches just based on that alone. One VERY big positive is the absence of common allergens. I can totally see the value being worth it if you have someone in your family on a restricted diet.

These breakfast protein bars are quite tasty, considering they are dairy-free, nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan! I love that these are a safe snack for kids to bring to school if they or someone in their class has severe allergies. I also like that these are made in Canada as I think they produce good quality products. I do think they are quite small for 100 calories and 8g of sugar. They taste quite sweet, and I wouldn’t mind them being a little less sweet with less sugar (Lord knows my daughter doesn’t need 8g of sugar from a little snack bar first thing in the morning). For adults, these are a great late morning/afternoon mini snack. I ate my bar in 6 bites, and I take small bites so for someone who takes larger bites, this would probably be gone in 3 bites. I appreciate that this has lots of good ingredients and incorporates 5g of protein. I mostly taste oats, sunflower seeds, some icing, and cinnamon which makes this quite a tasty bar! These are quite pricey for 5 small bars per box, but they are certainly a higher quality product so you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a safe school snack for a child or classroom with a severe allergy, I would recommend trying these as they actually taste good unlike some other “healthy” snacks that kids won’t touch because you can taste how “healthy” they are.

These are sweet and small breakfast bars with 5 g of protein each. You get 6 boxes with 5 bars in each box. The flavor says sprinkled donut, and they taste like they've been flavored with the cake batter emulsion you can get in the bakery aisle at hobby stores. It doesn't really taste like a donut to me. It's good, but a bit sweeter and more artificial tasting than I like. I prefer their fruit flavors way better. It's still good as a quick snack though. I'm glad it's as small as it is. These are quite little compared to most granola bars out there.

These breakfast bars can make the perfect on the go snack. I would describe them as having somewhat of a vanilla flavor. I’m not the biggest fan of vanilla; I gravitate more towards chocolate, so that would be my next flavor choice.I love the story behind these and the cute graphics on the box. However, with anything having to do with food and allergies, just be sure to look carefully over the ingredients.

Taste much better than than I expected. Usually the protein bars aren’t the best but these are good. I did get a hint of raisins tho it doesn’t mention raisins in the ingredients tho it does say grape juice so that may be the flavor I’m tasting. It is sweet but not overly so.

These bars are definitely pricy at over $1 per bar, but they are healthy and a good option to take on the go. They have plant protein, are gluten free, and do not contain the main allergens. The cream on top does make it more swear, which is a great addition with the granola and blueberries. There are other ingredients mixed into the granola bar as well like seeds, oils, and tapioca syrup. I will also say that it does start out tasty with the fruit and then becomes more “healthy” tasting as you chew it. Biting into the blueberry bits are the best part. It’s great that I can throw these in the car, a book bag, lunch box, or anywhere on the go for a nice snack.
